Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse & Logistics Operations:
- Supervise all daily warehouse and logistics activities in accordance with company policies and vision.
- Plan, manage, and optimize warehouse layout, monthly inventory, quality control, quantity control, stock levels, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to implement a Warehouse and Logistics Management System and develop effective working practices for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 22000 standards.
- People Management:
- Foster a collaborative team environment that works together to achieve Classic Fine Foods' targets and objectives.
- Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team members are competent and versatile in their roles.
- Coach and motivate the team to maintain focus on shared goals and consistently meet business objectives.
- Plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet daily operational needs within the warehouse.
- Supervise the warehouse team and manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor's degree from a university or college (preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisor role
Skills:
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with vendors and team members
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively, analyze situations, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Data Analysis: Understanding of basic data analysis principles to monitor warehouse and logistics performance, identify areas for improvement,
- Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Knowledge of the food supply industry, regulations, and best practices.
- Computer Skills: Using warehouse management systems (WMS) (preferred)
- Driver's License (Preferred): Possession of a B2 driver's license.
